On January 25th 2014, PGF URTICA Sp. z o.o. received the ‘2013 Polish Business Leader’ title and statuette awarded in the competition organised by Business Centre Club. The official award ceremony was held at the Teatr Wielki – Polish National Opera in Warsaw. The award was presented by Janusz Piechociński, Polish Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy, to Tomisław Bensari, President of the PGF Urtica Management Board, acting on behalf of the company. The Polish Business Leaders Gala closed the Polish Business Leader competition organised by BCC, which aims at fostering entrepreneurship and market economy through promotion and recognition of companies which contribute significantly to the country’s economic growth and engage in CSR and charity activities. The competition is based on questionnaires, and winners are expected to demonstrate, among other merits, their solid financial performance, quality and innovativeness of products, strong investment portfolio, and care for the natural environment. Candidates are evaluated by the judging panel which brings together experts selected by BCC’s Organisers Board.
